Hey, you have to start somewhere right?

I've always been able to shop like nobody's business! I'm talking since 7th grade when my mom stopped shopping for us and started giving my sister and I a budget to shop for ourselves. We'd go to the mall and my sister would return with a shopping bag that included an overpriced outfit with 2-3 pieces that couldn't be interchanged. On the other hand, I would return with bags consisting of multiple items that could be interchanged to create numerous outfits. Benefits to hitting the sale rack first!  The older I got, the better I got.

Retail, high-end, consignment, and thrifting - you name it!  I Will Find the hot shhhh, needles in the haystacks, and that super cute designer item on sale that someone tried to hide where they thought no one would look, - HA!

It’s safe to say that my passion for fashion has always been a part of me, but I've watched it evolve over the past few years in areas and ways that I never imagined. I released the floodgates of ideas, creativity, natural gifts, and talents I didn’t know existed.

Prior to that, I was in Corporate America suppressing the urge …  but, I’ll save that story for my autobiography. (lol)

Entering the world of fashion as a Personal Shopper/Stylist, Consignment Store owner, Digital Stylist/Content Creator, and now Fashion Designer. Who knew!

If I’m being honest, I’d have to say: I’ve been playing it safe, second-guessing, comparing, and overthinking. Some may even call it self-sabotage. No more! I’m just going to put it all out there full-throttle and no brakes! This, ladies and gentlemen, is the 2.0 version. The next chapter. Page 1.

I look forward to you being a part of the story.

Sincerely Yours,
April J.
